Book Launch

A few weeks ago I had my very first book launch. I held it at a local cafe, and it all felt like a dream come true!  It was well attended with friends, family and community members who happened to stop by. It was a great opportunity to reunite with friends and acquaintances who I didn’t know knew each other as well as some families I know through my speech therapy work. There was time to gather a group of children for an interactive reading.  They joined in with wonderful enthusiasm.

My family supported with taking photos and selling books, and Katy Frost, my illustrator, attended as well. I signed books for families and to give as gifts, and we had some celebration bubbles and a cake made by a local baker. Sofia and the team at The Terrace Park Cafe were amazing and set us up so nicely and even bought a copy of the book for their toy trolley!

I’m now working on promo and available for school author visits local to Stansted, Essex.
